Description Company: TD*X Associates LP TD*X Associates is a technology development firm that designs, builds, and operates the most advanced thermal desorption units (TDUs) in the world. Our facilities are used to solve complex waste management and material recycling challenges for our clients and are positioned to expand the application of thermal desorption to higher value material recovery and emerging waste streams. Position Description: The Decanting Centrifuge Operator provides hands-on operation and maintenance of dewatering equipment including a three-phase centrifuge, centrifugal pumps, valves, piping, flow meters, pressure gauges, and auger conveyor. The ideal candidate will be safety conscious, attentive, hardworking, mechanically competent and have a desire to work as part of an integrated team. Key Responsibilities: As a member of an integrated team, the Decanting Centrifuge Operator responsibilities include: Maintain process equipment and facility Operate process equipment Collect, record and report process data Assist with repair of process equipment Load and off load tankers, roll offs and totes as required Perform spin outs for BS&W Perform flash test Check filterability of water being generated Other tasks and/or responsibilities as directed by your supervisor Working Environment Our facility is located outside where heat and cold are the normal work environment conditions and operates 24 hours per day and 7 days per week. The equipment includes hot surfaces, pressurized piping, confined spaces, rotating motors, conveyors, and moving heavy equipment. Personal protective equipment required include steel toed boots, coveralls, safety glasses, hard hat, hearing protection and gloves. Job Type: Full-time Pay: Starting pay is $25.86 to $30.35 per hour, depending on experience with 1.5X pay over 40 hours in a week. Requirements Desired Experience Previous employment in an industrial setting. i.e., oil field or chemical manufacturing Knowledge of hazardous materials operations Experience operating equipment with centrifuge bowl 21inches or larger Tank cleaning Knowledge and experience with hydraulic pump and centrifugal pump Looking for a career Required Capabilities 18 years or older High school diploma or GED equivalent Ability to lift 50 pounds Ability to climb stairs and ladders Ability to follow instructions and communicate clearly Ability to wear and work in a respirator Self-motivated Responsible Team attitude
