POSITION SUMMARY:

We are looking for a Deck Designer with a strong background in design, architecture, engineering, or construction sales to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work directly with homeowners to conceptualize and design custom decks and outdoor structures, blending creativity with technical accuracy. This position bridges design and sales — helping clients visualize their ideal space while ensuring it’s practical, buildable, and code-compliant.

• Meet with prospective clients to assess their needs, understand site conditions, and present design solutions.
• Develop detailed 2D and 3D deck designs using CAD or deck-specific software.
• Collaborate with the construction team to ensure designs are structurally sound and build-ready.
• Prepare material takeoffs, renderings, and client proposals with cost estimates.
• Advise clients on decking materials, finishes, and layout options.
• Stay informed about local building codes, permit processes, and zoning laws.
• Support the sales team in closing deals by delivering compelling, accurate designs.
• Attend job sites for measurements, assessments, and client meetings as needed.
