Description
A 56m sailing yacht is seeking a Deckhand to join a well-run and established program. The yacht will spend the summer season in the Mediterranean, with winter plans to be confirmed. This is a hands-on role within a professional deck team, suited to someone who enjoys sailing and being part of a structured, performance-driven environment. The ideal candidate will be fit, active and presentable, with a minimum of one year’s experience in a deck role, ideally two. Solid sailing knowledge is required, along with confidence in day-to-day deck operations, maintenance and guest interaction. A proactive attitude, strong work ethic and ability to integrate into a team are essential. The position could suit someone available to join towards the end of March ahead of the crossing, or alternatively in Palma in April. This is a great opportunity for a motivated deckhand looking to step into a larger sailing yacht and continue developing their skills within a professional and supportive program. Qualifications required: STCW, ENG 1, YM Offshore would be a preference but not a must, sailing experience and 1 year in the industry Itinerary: Caribbean/ Mediterranean Male/female: Male DTCA Startdate and joining location: March in Antigua or late April in Palma Package: DOE
