ABOUT CANPAC MARINE SERVICES INC.:

Canpac Marine Services Inc., is based in the Port of Vancouver, Canada and has been providing marine services to inland, coastal, and offshore sectors since 1965. Canpac operates a fleet of specialized vessels ranging from 150t to 3000t conducting material delivery and subsea inspection, repair, maintenance and construction of marine assets from surface to 6,000 meters of water depth.

JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Deckhands and Deckhands with SVMO to join our team. The Deckhand will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to the maintenance, operation, and safety of the vessel. This is a hands-on position that requires physical stamina, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Domestic Vessel Safety Certificate (MED A1)
• No specific experience may be required for entry-level positions, but previous experience in a maritime environment is an asset.
• Basic understanding of vessel operations and safety procedures is preferred.
• Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labor.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks.

• Perform other duties as assigned by the Captain or Mate.
