Job Details Level: Entry Job Location: KENNESAW, GA Position Type: Full Time Education Level: None Salary Range: $16.00 - $16.00 Job Shift: Day Job Category: Installation - Maint - Repair Description We’re looking for motivated individuals to join our team in an entry-level role focused on handling and working with various types of IT equipment. We will teach you to properly and safely disassemble desktop computers, laptops, and other electronic equipment. This includes identifying components such as the motherboard, CPU, RAM, and power supply unit (PSU). Shift: Monday through Friday 8am-4:30pm Pay: $16 per hour Location: Kennesaw, GA What You’ll Do: Safely take apart computers and other tech equipment and organize the parts. Help identify and fix basic hardware issues with computers and other electronic devices. Keep clear records of any repairs, installations, or equipment changes. Assist with setting up and testing new or repaired devices. Perform other tasks as assigned to support the team. We will teach basic functions of Microsoft Office 365, specifically Word & Excel Equipment You’ll Work With May Include: Desktop computers, laptops, monitors. Servers, printers, tablets, cell phones and more. Qualifications What We’re Looking For: Interest in technology and a willingness to learn. Basic understanding of computer hardware (training provided). Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. Must be comfortable working in a warehouse setting. Physical Requirements To succeed in this role, you should be comfortable with: Standing, sitting, bending, kneeling, or crouching for extended periods. Using your hands to handle equipment and materials. Regularly lifting up to 27 lbs., and occasionally lifting or moving items over 35–45 lbs. Working in an environment with bright lights, loud sounds, dust, and changing temperatures.
Responsibilities
The role involves safely disassembling computers and organizing parts, as well as assisting with identifying and fixing basic hardware issues. Additional tasks include keeping records of repairs and installations and helping set up new or repaired devices.
