Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for Decontamination Technicians within the Hospital Sterilisation Disinfection Unit based at the Grange University Hospital, Cwmbran and Royal Gwent Hospital, Newport.
The Decontamination Technician is integral to delivering both elective and emergency procedures.
We are therefore looking to recruit dynamic and motivated people who are able to work within a team and are eager to learn new skills and build on existing transferrable skills.

THE POSTS WE HAVE AVAILABLE ARE:

Post 1 - Monday to Friday 14:00 - 22:00 based at Grange University Hospital
Post 2 - Monday to Friday 22:00 - 06:00 based at Royal Gwent Hospital
The posthlder will provide a high quality service, through the preparation, production, sterilisation and delivery of ward and departmental procedure packs, along with comprehensive Theatre and Day Theatre instrument sets within the Aneurin Bevan University Health Board.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
