JOB SUMMARY:

This role involves identifying new business opportunities, maintaining relationships with existing clients, and working closely cross functionally with the production and sales teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the decorative lighting industry, exceptional customer service and organistional skills, and a passion for delivering innovative lighting solutions to both residential and commercial customers.

PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE & TRAINING:

  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of the decorative lighting product range, including new product launches, technical specifications, and market positioning.
  • Train the sales team on product knowledge, sales techniques, and best practices to improve performance.
  • Stay informed on lighting trends, design styles, and technologies to offer cutting-edge solutions to clients.

KEY SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience: Proven track record of success in sales, particularly in decorative lighting or related industries (e.g., home furnishings, interior design, architectural products).
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Sales Skills: Expertise in consultative selling, solution-based selling, and account management.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with Sage200 is preferable (training will be provided).
  • Customer Focus: A customer-centric approach with an ability to identify and meet client needs effectively.
  • Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with an ability to think strategically and act decisively.
