Job Description As a Decorator, you will be responsible for a variety of decorating tasks across our premises, ensuring a high standard of finish and maintaining the aesthetic appeal. The decorating team is crucial to the upkeep and presentation across our state-of-the-art properties by ensuring a welcoming environment for our visitors. You will work both independently and as part of a small team, managing your workload efficiently and to a high standard. Qualifications Proven experience as a painter and decorator or an expert in high-end residential property development. Proficiency in a range of decorating techniques and the ability to use associated tools and equipment. Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Good understanding of health and safety practices within a building environment. Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic. Ability to interpret and execute intricate design briefs and specifications. NVQ Level 2 in Painting and Decorating. Additional Information Preparing surfaces for painting and decorating, including filling cracks, sanding, and priming. Applying paint, varnishes, and other finishes to walls, ceilings, and woodwork using brushes, rollers, and sprayers. Adhering to decorating specifications and instructions. Carrying out minor repairs to plasterwork and woodwork as required. Maintaining a clean and tidy work area, ensuring all tools and materials are stored correctly. Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times. Working collaboratively with other members of the Facilities team.
