  • A Masters qualification in a related field (or working towards it)
  • A current NCNZ Annual Practising Certificate
  • A minimum of 3 years post-registration experience
  • Commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi
  • Skills and/or qualifications in te reo Māori and adult teaching (highly advantageous)

    Join our supportive, passionate team as a Dedicated Education Unit (DEU) Coordinator to deliver Toi Ohomai Institute of Technology bicultural nursing programmes across the Bay of Plenty region.
    The dedicated education unit coordinator role is a key leadership position within the Te Puna Whai ora nursing department to develop, maintain and evaluate this model of student learning in the clinical practice environment.

Key to your success in this role will be your demonstrated ability to:

  • Develop and deliver effective co-ordination and relationships with clinical partners/key stakeholders
  • Develop and deliver bicultural, contextual and responsive tertiary education
  • Use a learner-centred approach to facilitate learning with diverse students
