Come join the leader in advanced EV batteries! www.lgensol.com Role Purpose: The purpose of this role is to reduce defects caused by contamination through auditing, analysis & improvements. Provide administrative support to the team when needed.   Responsibilities: * Collect debris samples from production equipment and analyze them. * Use specialized tools for analysis (Microscope, Air Flow Meter, Particle Counter, etc.) * Under guidance from the Defect Engineer, assist in root cause analysis and implementing production equipment & process improvements. * Audit the production line from a contamination control perspective to identify issues proactively and help resolve them.    * Check particle amount on the production line, clean room, CDA. * Measure Blow & Suction (air flow and velocity), EFU fan, Magnet Bar (gap and force). * Analyze equipment parts composition using specialized tools (XRF).                          * Manage non-conformities via Excel and support & follow-up with production teams to get a resolution. * Work effectively with Production & QA teams to address internal & external quality issues related to contamination * Coach & train employees on 5S and cleanliness best practices. * Report audit and project implementation results. * Perform other minor clerical duties as needed, such as submitting purchase requests, photocopying, KPI board management, etc. * Able to occasionally work early or late to collaborate with other shifts.   Qualifications: * Associate Degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school is preferred * 1+ years 5S implementation experience * Good Communication Skills; able to persuade others and drive change * Professional / Positive Attitude * Highly Motivated Self-Starter * Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint * Well-Organized & Accountable * Problem Solving and Analytical Abilities * Multitask on several projects simultaneously   Benefits Overview * 100% employer paid Medical, Dental, and Vision premiums for you and your family * 100% employer-paid disability and life insurance * Employer-supported childcare/babysitting programs * Generous Paid Time Off / Holidays * Opportunity to grow in a diverse work environment with a global company * 401k Retirement savings and planning with a generous company match   LGESMI is an Equal Opportunity employer that values the diversity of its workforce.
