JOB DESCRIPTION

We’re recruiting a Digital Workforce Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to join the Change and Modernisation Team who sit within the Financial, Procurement & Civilian People (FPCP) function of DBS. The Change and Modernisation Team deliver all aspects of change and drives modernisation of the services provided by DBS FPCP. We are dedicated to enhancing services for our customers and end-users in Defence by driving change and modernisation initiatives.
The Digital Workforce Manager is an important role in the Delivery of FPCP’s wider Change initiatives within processes and systems to modernise the way we deliver HR services to over 55,000 MOD Civilians.
An important focus of the role is how our services are accessed, and modernising customer channels so that users benefit from a seamless digital experience.
This is an exciting time to join Defence Business Services as it transforms and modernises, equipping itself to meet the changing needs of our customers and enhancing the services we deliver.
Main responsibilities:
• Act as the liaison between DBS FPCP Operational Teams and the DBS Automation Garage, overseeing all Automation Garage activities from Discovery to Delivery phases.
• Maintain and enhance automations for various HR processes, collaborating with teams to resolve issues promptly.
• Collaborate with Product Managers to monitor and enhance Digital Processes within the Oracle Fusion Human Capital Management (HCM) Solution.
• Manage backlogs, roadmaps, and iterative delivery as a Product Manager for Civilian Personnel systems.
• Engage stakeholders from Civilian Personnel, DIT, and People Function to align products with strategic goals.
• Continuous Improvement - embed a culture of user-centred design, data-informed solutions, and process improvements in the delivery of digital workforce solutions.
• Work with our colleagues in FPCP and wider DBS to identify issues and areas for digital efficiency with their processes.
