What You’ll Do Act as Senior Program Manager for a key component program, serving as the primary interface with the defense industry ecosystem. Lead end-to-end defense programs focused on turbine energy systems and other mission-critical components, from concept through delivery. Translate customer, industrial, and regulatory requirements into clear, executable program roadmaps. Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, industrialization, supply chain, commercial, manufacturing, testing, and operations. Own program execution including schedules, budgets, milestones, priorities, and risk mitigation across complex, multi-project environments. Drive strategic program expansion, evolving turbine-focused initiatives into broader component and system domains. Represent Destinus at a senior level with customers, industry partners, and defense stakeholders. Manage customer relationships throughout delivery, ensuring system integration and leading negotiations on scope, schedule, and program changes. Provide strategic direction and governance to individual project managers, ensuring alignment with overall program objectives. What You’ll Need 15 - 20 years of experience in defense aerospace energy or heavy industrial environments Deep expertise in turbine technology and/or energy systems within complex programs in defense, aerospace, engineering, or related industries. Solid hands-on understanding of systems engineering, hardware development, testing cycles, and manufacturing environments. Strong planning and structuring capability, able to translate ambiguity into clear, measurable, and executable plans. Proven experience managing large program budgets, including financial forecasting and data-driven investment and divestment decisions across multiple projects. Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain robust documentation, processes, and executive-level reporting. Successful track record leading large-scale, multi-stakeholder programs in complex organizational environments. Comprehensive understanding of industrial execution models, supply chains, and defense program lifecycles. Confidence engaging with senior industry leaders and government counterparts, representing the program at a strategic level. Willingness to undertake substantial international travel as required by the role. Fluency in English its mandatory, additional languages like German and / or French are essential.
