Responsibilities

Our team delivers the financial support functions for Adult Social Care at Gloucestershire County Council. Our role is an important part of supporting the care sector by delivering an efficient, accurate and consistent service to the people we support and their families.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Deferred Payments and Property Monitoring Officer in our specialist team. The team is responsible for:

  • Accurately and efficiently processing Deferred Payment Agreements for people we support who pay for chargeable social care services
  • Obtaining official property valuations
  • Monitoring debts to ensure they do not exceed property valuations
  • Monitoring disregarded properties to ensure that those disregards are still valid

The post is based at Shire Hall in Gloucester. We offer flexible working with a mix of office and home working. There is free, off-site parking when working in the office.
