ROLE OVERVIEW:
Cash Balance Actuaries, (CBA), a Strongpoint Partner, is seeking an experienced Defined Benefit / Cash Balance (DB/CB) Plan Administrator. The DB/DC Plan Administrator is responsible for overseeing a caseload of clients, primarily Defined Benefit / Cash Balance plans. Day to day responsibilities include managing annual workflow/administrative deadlines, compliance testing, contribution calculations, preparing actuarial valuations for review, 401(k) plan reconciliation, government reporting, and responding to day-to-day client inquiries. This position will perform all levels of compliance testing and government reporting, and provide guidance to clients on plan design, contribution structure, and evolving legislative requirements. This is a great opportunity for a motivated candidate who wants to further their knowledge of qualified plan design, compliance and administration, and support all sides of a growing financial services firm. This individual must have strong project management skills, a high level of comfort with technology, and the personality to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment by being adaptable, creative, proactive, and eager to grow in this position as it evolves with the growth of the company.
