Responsibilities

The recent introduction of our new School of Apprenticeships is an exciting development at ARU, demonstrating our commitment to becoming sector leading in the delivery of excellent apprenticeships. The School of Apprenticeships works alongside Faculties and relevant professional service colleagues to deliver consistent, high-quality apprenticeships. Based in Chelmsford, Cambridge and Peterborough, the School will oversee apprenticeship delivery across our entire portfolio.
In this role, your priority will be to lead and provide effective and efficient administrative support to colleagues across the School. You’ll play an important role in the further development of administrative processes within the School of Apprenticeships, working to ensure that we remain compliant and accurate in our recording and reporting.
With a minimum of a degree and/or substantial experience within administration, you’ll have demonstrable experience of resolving daily problems independently, and the initiative and energy to be a change agent in the development of the service. Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office applications will be a benefit. Ability to work to tight deadlines, prioritising and multitasking are essential.
Informal enquiries can be made to Ben Clawson or Katie Thwaites, Apprenticeship Academic Delivery Managers, at ben.clawson@aru.ac.uk or katie.thwaites@aru.ac.uk
