Student Success Advisors help students successfully navigate and complete SAE programmes. This may involve individual or group tutorials on specific course-related topics and in areas such as research, academic writing, practical studio skills, and essential study skills like time management. Student Success Advisors also assist students in connecting with relevant professional services, including counselling, when needed.
A specific emphasis of this position is on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), including the support of initiatives that enhance diversity, equity, and inclusion on campus, with a particular focus on student support.
The DEI focused Student Success Advisor may also participate in the development and implementation of relevant strategies and initiatives to help students from marginalised and underrepresented populations feel welcomed, connected, and supported at SAE Auckland.
This role is part time, working two days a week.
