PROSTHETIST / PROSTHETIC PRACTITIONER  Fast growing and employee friendly, with an exciting opportunity for a Certified Orthotist or Certified Prosthetist or Orthotist Practitioner in our Dover, DE location. Patient Management and quality delivery of services and procedures to client/patients in need of orthotic or prosthetic care.  Functions include evaluation, consultations with physicians, therapists, patients, etc., prescription recommendations, design, fabrication, fitting, patient/client training, and patient records. RESPONSIBLE TO: The Regional Manager Board of Directors   RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: * Marketing the Firm’s professional services, through the development of strong professional relationships with physicians, therapists, patients, and other referral sources. * To deliver quality orthoses/prostheses and professional services in relation to patient care. * To comply with Lawall HIPAA policies and procedures. * Develop a referral and client base that will profitably contribute to the practice’s capabilities to better serve patients/clients, referral sources and employees. * Maintenance of all patient charts and records of care and service, current and complete at the end of each day. * Provide complete and accurate direction and guidance to technicians responsible for fabrication of orthoses and prostheses for his/her patients. * Does actual fabrication as may be needed to assure, quality, fit, function, timely delivery, or responsiveness to individual patient need. * Achieving and maintaining professional knowledge and technical skills required to perform all other primary responsibilities.  This specifically includes current “state of the art” knowledge, procedures, components, and materials including application based on diagnosis. * Post-delivery service and adjustments for assigned patients. * Training of technicians, apprentices, and/or other practitioners, as appropriate. * Maintain neat, clean and orderly work spaces and common areas used during work or breaks. * Professionalism in conduct, appearance, and communication. QUALIFICATIONS: * Graduate of an accredited college.  Degree/Certification in Orthotics and/or Prosthetics. * Certified Orthotist (CO) or Certified Prosthetist Orthotist (CPO) * Experience/Knowledge  * Certified by ABC or eligible to be certified by ABC * Licensed or eligible for State licensure * Certified or eligible for Certification by BOC * Certified in CPR * Minimum 3 years in Orthotic and Prosthetic field.
