YOUR MISSION

This is a new role created to help the expansion of our delegate and event sales team. The role reports directly into the sales director, with responsibility for overseeing delegate sales, managing and mentoring team members as required, and working with the senior team to schedule resources and forecast revenues. This role also has responsibility for overseeing cross selling into membership and sponsorship lines. It is a ‘lead from the front’ role with the role holder expected to deliver a high volume of personal sales , particularly more complex and higher value sales (eg group tickets and membership upsells).
This role will be required to be in the office four days a week to supervise junior team members. One day a week can be working from home if preferred.
Full time: 35 hours Monday to Friday
Office: East Grinstead – walking distance to the station, onsite parking

YOUR PROFILE

Our ideal candidate will have previous team leadership in a fast-paced sales environment, or a strong sales record and be keen to step up to their first management role. We are looking for an enthusiastic and successful sales person who enjoys positive team collaboration.
