The purpose of this role is to provide bordereaux data processing/analysis, and administration support to our delegated underwriting authority (DUA) business. Over time, and as the business grows, this position provides potential for career development in various areas within the company including Underwriting. If you enjoy the excitement, challenges and rewards that come with creating better ways to do business, this may be the opportunity for you.   What You’ll Be Doing Your responsibilities will include:  * Tracking, analyzing, and processing bordereaux information received by TMCan, ensuring data is handled in a consistent, timely and accurate manner. * Mapping bordereaux reports (premium & payment) in binder management system.  * Uploading bordereaux reports to binder management system. * Bordereaux quality control, recommending improvements/changes. * Assist with bordereaux report validations and escalate errors to internal and external stakeholders. * Be a key contact to resolve issues that prevent the processing of bordereaux within agreed timelines. * Input bordereaux premiums into policy administration system via file upload and/or manual entry.   * Reconcile bordereaux premium discrepancies and outstanding payments from Finance. * Resolve bordereaux report inquiries from both internal and external stakeholders. * Assist with special projects as required i.e., creating/pulling DUA program performance reports. * You will also be asked to assist with broader company tasks as needed.  Who You Are You are a team player with a positive attitude who thrives in a consensus culture with an emphasis on collaboration. You are comfortable working on a lean team and are not afraid to roll up your sleeves and do the work that needs to be done.    You bring: * The ideal combination of education and experience - a university degree or college diploma and 2+ years of relevant experience. Experience in property and casualty insurance/re-insurance and bordereaux processing required. * Proven analytical and problem-solving skills to collate and accurately summarize appropriate and timely data sets through Excel. * Keen interest in numbers and a numerical background preferred. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (MS 360, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook) with a particular focus on Excel skills. * Strong attention to detail and effective organizational skills.    * Takes initiative, is self-motivated with a can-do attitude.  * A proven ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities at the same time while meeting deadlines and driving for results.  * Experience working closely with others and enjoy an atmosphere of cross-collaboration.  * The ability to thrive in a changing environment and be comfortable with ambiguity.  * Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English) are required; fluency in French is preferred but not required.   This posting is for an existing vacancy at Tokio Marine Canada.
