POSITION OVERVIEW

The Deli Clerk & Cashier is responsible for providing excellent customer service while preparing, slicing, and packaging deli products, as well as operating the cash register to complete transactions efficiently and accurately. This role requires strong attention to detail, a positive attitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining food safety and cleanliness standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail, cashier, or food service experience an asset but not required (training provided). * Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

GENERAL DUTIES

• Maintain cleanliness of deli cases, counters, equipment, and work areas.
• Monitor product freshness, check expiration dates, and reduce waste.
• Restock supplies such as packaging materials, condiments, and utensils.
• Follow company policies and safety regulations.
