Position Summary... A Deli Bakery Associate provides exemplary customer service by adhering to the basic beliefs and values of Walmart, maintains and zones the Bakery and/or Deli area, and assists with stocking and the sale of goods. What you'll do... 1. Zones the department to ensure product shelves, tables and bunkers are organization and product is in the correct location 2. Rotates stock and checks for expired products. 3. Ensures the merchandise is properly signed and priced. 4. Adheres to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration dates. 5. Takes orders for Deli Department merchandise; preparing hot food merchandise and providing requested assistance. 6. Prepares deli food orders utilizing utensils; preparing chicken by using rotisserie oven; and fill prepared side dishes for placement into display area. 7. Prepares bakery merchandise by accurately following thawing and baking guidelines to ensure the quality and visual appearance of Bakery Department merchandise, such as bread, cakes, pies, cookies, and rolls. 8. Follows proper procedures for; Ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels. The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $18.05.
