Who we are / About us : Bird & Carter Farm Shop is a small business just outside of Wilton, Salsibury. We are professional, agile, innovative and our goal is to create delicious home cooked fayre served fresh in our deli counter and on our menu.
This is a great opportunity for a chef/competent cook to work daytime hours during the week at Bird & Carter Farm Shop.
What we are looking for / The position : The job involves making breakfasts to order and then quiche, sausage rolls, , salads etc and cakes for the shop on during the week from 8am until 4pm. You need to have extensive knowledge of pastry and batch cooking and be brimming with ideas for seasonal dishes.
We serve breakfast from 9am-11.30am and lunch from 12pm-3pm. Prep takes place alongside service so you must be motivated, flexible and eager to work dynamically and efficiently in the kitchen and with the team . When the deli is busy we want this person to feel comfortable with serving customers and helping get lunch orders out Front of House.
