As a Meat Clerk, you will be responsible for expertly slicing and presenting various meats while ensuring the highest standards of sanitation and quality. This role is essential in creating an enjoyable shopping experience for our customers.

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience in meat preparation or grocery service is preferred but not required.
• Strong knowledge of sanitation practices within the food industry.
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing inventory.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
• Willingness to help team members and contribute positively to the work environment.

• Filling meat and seafood counters and showcases.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, tools, and equipment in accordance with health regulations.
• Use of hand wrapper, and scale.
• Pricing meats and seafood.
• Collaborate with staff to ensure timely food preparation and service.
• Adhere to all safety protocols while handling sharp tools and equipment.
• Perform inventory checks and assist in stock management as needed.
