Creating an all-around enjoyable shopping experience for our customers. Welcoming and greeting customers when entering or leaving the store. Listening to customers to gain a thorough understanding of what they need. Recommending, slicing, weighing, packaging, and pricing deli items. Preparing special orders, take-out items, and party trays. Updating displays, cases and other customer-facing areas. Confirming that all displays, products, and services comply with company standards. Following all food safety and sanitation procedures. Ensuring work areas are clean and ready to service customers. Cooperating with others to ensure customer satisfaction. Help lead and motivate the deli department team. Performing other duties as assigned. Requirements A few things you’ll need… Candidates must be 18+ years or older Complete a pre-employment background check Ability to lift heavy items, ranging from 25 to 50 lbs.
