Job Type: Full Time ($27.00-$29.00 per hour) – with Bonus
We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a prior Deli experience and a sense of drive and ambition to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and customer service and will be responsible for managing the daily operation for the Deli Department. The qualified candidate will lead and support a fun, productive team helping them to accomplish goals and objectives. They will also be responsible for ensuring all food safety standards are maintained.

Tasks & Duties

• Manage deli employees and supervise in various duties such as cooking, packaging, and serving
• Manage product storage, rotation, and merchandising
• Train employees in food safety and sanitation procedures
• Maintain inventory levels of food and non-food items such as packing and cleaning supplies
• Schedule shifts, hire staff and train new hires

Here’s what we require from you:

• Minimum 2 years retail experience in a deli environment
• Experience with ordering and the ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively
• Financials: experience with Scheduling, budgets and margins
• Outstanding leadership and customer service skills
• Great attitude and work ethic
