JOB SUMMARY:

As a Manager at Subway, you will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the restaurant. You will ensure compliance with company standards, lead a team to deliver exceptional customer service, and uphold high standards of food safety, hygiene, and operational excellence.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Previous Manager experience in a fast-paced food service or retail environment preferred.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Solid understanding of food safety and health regulations.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work under pressure.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable using POS systems and basic Microsoft Office tools.
Responsibilities
  • Operate the restaurant in full compliance with Subway’s operational manual, policies, and procedures.
  • Conduct weekly Self-REVs (Restaurant Excellence Reviews) to maintain quality and performance standards.
  • Perform general administrative duties, including:
  • Checking in deliveries and placing orders
  • Cash handling and reconciliation
  • Inventory management, waste control, and stock rotation
  • Pest prevention and temperature log maintenance
  • Support staffing needs:
  • Assist in scheduling and shift planning
  • Train, coach, and motivate employees
  • Foster a positive and productive team environment
  • Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety and Food Safety legislation.
  • Manage customer feedback and resolve in-store complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Monitor and arrange general equipment maintenance and schedule engineer callouts when required.
  • Oversee daily operations and collaborate closely with managers and owners.
  • Prepare weekly operational reports and participate in inventory and food cost reviews.
  • Manage REV/EHO visits, incident reporting, and ensure accurate and up-to-date store documentation.
  • Assist in upcoming store remodel projects, working with leadership to support a smooth transition.
