Want to join our team? We are looking for an enthusiastic and hard working individual to join our Deli!
Job Title: Deli Supervisor
Location: JD Hunter & Co, Markethill
Employment: 40 hours
Monday- Saturday: 9-6 (with every Thursday or Friday off). Will change to a 1 in 3 once initial set up and routines are in place.
Pay: Starting at £15 (exact rate depends on experience)

The roles of the successful candidate would include:

  • Listening to, and understanding our customers’ needs and advising them about our products and services.
  • Ensuring through coaching that every customer receives excellent service
  • Allocate work duties to other members of the Deli team to ensure all duties are covered and to maintain a high quality service at all times.
  • Championing Health & Safety, Security, Discipline and Due Diligence throughout the Deli team
  • Carry out food safety control checks in all areas to ensure all standards are being maintained and recorded.
  • Driving sales and service throughout the team with attention to detail and product development
  • Prepare all food in line with company procedure and Health and Safety regulations.
  • Ensure a high standard of cleanliness in the Deli Department (front and back) is maintained at all times.
  • Be accountable for the enforcement of all legislative demands/standards of fire, health, hygiene and safety and these conditions are strictly adhered to.
  • Managing colleague rotas/holidays in line with business needs
  • Working closely with both Head Chef and Head Butcher to deliver for our customer
  • Undertake other duties as required for the role.
