OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Deli Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and customer service, ensuring that our deli section runs smoothly and efficiently. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment. Applicant will be have responsibilites to make sure the Deli runs at full potential also will be responsible for food preparation, maintaining food safety standards, and providing excellent hospitality to our customers.

EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience in a restaurant or culinary environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations is essential.
• Experience in supervising or managing a team is advantageous.
• Skills in food production, cooking, and serving are highly desirable.
• Background in hospitality or barista roles will be considered an asset.

• Prepare and serve a variety of deli products, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the deli area, adhering to food safety regulations.
• Assist in managing inventory levels, including ordering supplies as needed.
• Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers and addressing their needs.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operation of the deli section.
• Supervise junior staff when required, providing guidance and support in daily tasks.
• Participate in training new employees on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
