QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • This position requires a well rounded person. Some previous customer experience especially serving experience would be good. Experience in any sales position would be good
  • You will be talking to people ALL day so you will need to be comfortable doing that.
  • To work in the Deli you need to have good customer service skill and be able to be part of the Deli team.
  • To be successful you need to be interested in learning all the aspects of a busy Deli/Restaurant and understand that your success depends of being art of a team

Responsibilities
  • Gathering data on the performance on each position to ensure the success of each team member.
  • Your main responsibility Greet every Bus Driver and Tour Director. Learn their names and be there to help with there group
  • Allocation of duties, through the schedule you will determine who does what position
  • Become a POS expert
  • Coordinating group business including pre-booking
  • Treating our Drivers and Guides like gold
  • Checking incoming orders
  • Ordering for the FOH
  • Inventory control
  • Prep and doing BBQ for lunch
  • Covering breaks for the rest of the team
  • Attending F&B meetings and completing reports
  • You must remain at your station to accommodate customers moving through the café for most of the day
  • Make sure you keep your head up and greet each and every customer
  • It is necessary to keep the Deli line stocked with excellent product so you have many great recommendations.
  • You are responsible for all food and cooler temperature checks
  • Each afternoon, review the days sales and the functions the next day so you can do the Deli order for the kitchen including sandwiches, soups, stews and desserts
