We're excited to announce an internal opening for a Delinquent Tenant Specialist (DTS) on our team! Job Description As a DTS, you will play a critical role in our Delinquent Tenant Management (DTM) process, ensuring that all state-specific lien and presale procedures are completed prior to each unit lien sale (auction). Responsibilities Work closely with District Managers to identify potential issues, coach and provide feedback to property personnel, and recommend process improvements as appropriate. Maintain a high level of proficiency with Public Storage DTM policies and procedures as it relates to the state's lien laws. Perform DTM file reviews and complete all assigned DTM and auction paperwork. Collaborate with District Managers to ensure lock checks are performed each day to maintain and control unit inventory and security. Identify spaces eligible for DTM Lock Cut, perform company-required DTM lock cuts and customer-requested lock cuts as required in accordance with PS policy, and secure spaces with a company lock and, as required, with a DTM seal. Execute the Public Storage Skip process and perform auction assistance to DMs. Qualifications A minimum of 2 years of Public Storage property management experience. Excellent organizational skills with a focus on time management and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively to meet deadlines. The ability to train, influence, and coach others to achieve compliance of DTM company policies. Strong written and verbal communication skills, intermediate proficiencies in Word and Excel, and the ability to work with little direction while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism. Possession of a valid and current driver's license and reliable transportation for daily travel over a large geographical area.
