All drivers are supplied with Amazon uniforms and operate Amazon-branded delivery Vans. General Responsibilities: The driver’s main objective is: Prompt, Safe, & Accurate Deliveries Follow all written and verbal instructions from supervisors to ensure the above-mentioned goal is always met Adhere to strict safety and quality standards on and off the road Always interact in a positive and professional manner while delivering products to customers’ homes, retail stores, and business locations Apply solution-oriented approaches when faced with a customer inquiry, request, or concern Keep the customer informed of delivery progress/status to the best of one’s ability Use handheld technology to deliver customer packages, manage delivery progress, and solve obstacles Sort and prepare delivery routes to assure customer satisfaction Ensure delivery vehicle is clean, fueled, and in good operating condition at all times Assist in training other team members if need be Where appropriate, non-delivery tasks such as, sortation, may be needed at the Delivery Station Transmit clear and timely communication with the dispatcher Receive and understand communication from the dispatcher Package Delivery Driver Benefits. Nice to Have: Previous delivery experience (i.e. Postmates, DoorDash, Amazon Flex, etc.) Previous transportation experience (i.e. Uber, Lyft, etc.)
