POSITION SUMMARY

The Client Services Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting the sales team by ensuring accurate order processing, exceptional customer service, and seamless execution of delivery and workplace dining orders. This position serves as the liaison between clients, the sales team, and operations, ensuring every event or order meets Blue Plate’s high standards while contributing to the company’s financial success.
Beyond administrative and operational support, this role is responsible for helping Sales Consultants achieve their financial goals and contributing to the overall team revenue objectives. The Client Services Coordinator will also have an individual revenue goal, reinforcing the importance of understanding sales performance, client retention, and revenue impact.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education and Experience: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality or related industry. Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of progressive experience within the hospitality industry that includes quantifiable success within a sales role
  • Basic knowledge of off-site catering and event operations
  • General interest in food, menu design and creative event development

  • Proficiency in CaterXpert or other catering management software preferred.
  • Experience working with corporate or high-volume clients is a plus.
  • Financial awareness, with a focus on supporting revenue goals and understanding the impact of client retention and order volume on business success.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently. Bilingual skills preferred.
