WE ARE ACTIVELY SEEKING WAREHOUSE/DELIVERY TEAM MEMBERS We warehouse and deliver furniture for locally owned retail stores. Furniture Enterprises of Alaska, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse/Delivery Team Member. Responsibilities will include receiving, storing, and picking, merchandise. Preparing items for delivery, loading & driving trucks, and assisting customers with load outs. Details: * $24.00 Per Hour to Start * Full Time – Days – 2 Consecutive days off each week * PTO (136 Hours) * Holiday Pay (Including your Birthday!) * Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance. * 401K Retirement Plan with generous Employer Match * Employee Assistance Program * Employee Discounts Responsibilities: * Transferring Merchandise in the Warehouse – Shipping/Receiving * Assisting with customer pick-ups and delivery. * Operating Company Equipment in a safe and courteous manner. * Operating Company Trucks in a in a safe and courteous manner. * Communicating with supervisors, and other team members in a professional manner. * Effectively following company policies and procedures and continually improving efficiencies. * Keeping work area clean & safe * Other duties as assigned. Requirements/Qualifications: * Upon job offer, must be able to pass a background check and drug & alcohol test prior to starting employment. * Must be 21 years of age. * Hold a valid driver license, and a clean driving record. * Pass a DOT health screening. * Lift between 100-170 lbs. consecutively. * Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for the entire shift. * Ability to operate warehouse tools and equipment.
