Delivery Driver (Afternoon Shift) Etobicoke
Independent Mechanical Supply
Independent Mechanical Supply (IMS) has an opening at our Etobicoke location for a full-time G Class Afternoon Delivery Driver. As a Delivery Driver at IMS, your primary goal is the accurate, efficient, and safe delivery of customer orders. You’ll deliver products to customers across the GTA and represent IMS with professionalism and care.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Valid G Class Driver’s License
  • Minimum 3 years of insured driving experience with a commercial vehicle
  • Clean driving record and ability to produce a current driver’s abstract
  • Must pass a criminal background check
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities
  • Perform truck, load, and paperwork checks to ensure safety, security, and accuracy
  • Manage your route in the most efficient way possible
  • Comply with all government and company regulations
  • Observe and report vehicle or equipment issues immediately
  • Conduct daily inspections of the vehicle and report any damage or failures
  • Complete a minimum of two daily delivery runs (departing from and returning to the warehouse)
  • Serve as a brand ambassador in every interaction with clients and the public
  • Be fully bondable and trustworthy for after-hours key drop deliveries at branch locations
