Delivery Driver Job Description
Billies House is a busy flower, gift, plant, and decor shop in downtown Squamish. Since 1973 Billies has been a Squamish institution and provides the flower delivery service in Squamish and Sea to Sky.
We are looking for a delivery driver to join our team who is somewhat flexible with their hours. There are no deliveries on Sundays or Holidays.
The ideal candidate is someone who is organized, professional, confident, and friendly, has an impeccable driving record, and is looking for a flexible work schedule.
This role is part-time and you’ll be working approx. 10-15hours a week
All Candidates MUST BE CURRENTLY LOCATED IN SQUAMISH

Experience:

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Weekly flower auction pickup in Burnaby
• Organize delivery routes and load delivery items into the van
• Ensure successful and timely deliveries of flowers and gifts to businesses and homes from Furry Creek to Squamish Valley Road and all places in between
• Keeping your deliveries organized and safe with an attention to detail
• Friendly communication with shop staff, suppliers and customers
• Pick up shop supplies as needed
• Help out cleaning around the shop as needed
• Keeping the delivery van clean

JOB DUTIES

• Loading the delivery vehicle from a staging area
• Delivering to residential locations
• Delivering to commercial locations
• Heavy lifting
• Other support tasks and errands as required
