As a Delivery Driver/Shop Helper at Creative Woodcraft, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our handcrafted cabinetry reaches customers on time and in perfect condition. You’ll be the face of our company on the road and during deliveries, providing outstanding service while representing our reputation for quality and craftsmanship. You will assist with assembly, finishing prep, and shop clean up.

This position is ideal for someone who is:

Responsibilities
  • Efficiently and accurately load cabinetry and components on truck
  • Safely transport cabinetry to job sites
  • Ensure all items are properly secured and protected during transit
  • Professionally communicate with Customer, and accept instructions within the CW delivery standards, and addressing any questions or concerns.
  • Unload cabinets and materials, ensuring everything is handled carefully to avoid damage.
  • Confirm delivery completion with photos back to Scheduling & Service Manager
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with the CW team.
  • Perform routine checks and maintenance on the truck to ensure it’s in good working condition.
  • Report any mechanical issues or required repairs to the company.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies while driving.
  • Ensure that all safety protocols are followed during loading, transport, and unloading.
  • Clean truck ensure efficient and safe operation and positive representation of CW brand.
  • Pick up supplies from various suppliers in Cowichan Valley and Victoria
  • Update and refine procedures as required.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory of supplies on truck.
  • Shop clean-up
  • Assembling cabinet boxes
  • Prepping products for finishing
  • Assisting with millwork or cabinet fabrication/production
  • Assist with other duties as assigned.
