Job Title: Delivery Driver - Contractor
Location: Airdrie, Alberta
Position Type: Casual / Contract
Schedule: 6-12 hour on-call shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada with strong spoken and written English skills
  • Must live in or near Airdrie, AB and be familiar with the city and surrounding areas
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license
  • Clean criminal record and driving abstract
  • Valid AGLC SellSafe certification (or ability to obtain)
  • Must possess a reliable, roadworthy vehicle with valid insurance
  • Active smartphone with data plan

ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for a reliable, respectful, and customer-focused Delivery Driver to bring the store experience to our customers’ doors! As a contractor, you’ll play a key part in ensuring safe, discreet, and timely delivery of legal cannabis products. This is a casual, independent contractor position, ideal for someone who thrives on flexibility, professionalism, and autonomy - while contributing to a positive cannabis culture in the community.
The successful incumbent may pursue other non-conflicting work during and/or outside shifts.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Deliver cannabis orders safely, professionally, and within designated timeframes
  • Confirm customer identity and age (valid government-issued photo ID)
  • Follow delivery instructions precisely
  • Use mobile apps for navigation, route management, and communication
  • Be reachable via phone or app during on-call shifts
  • Keep your vehicle clean, organized, and roadworthy
  • Communicate clearly with dispatch, the in-store team, and customers
  • Flag any delivery or route issues promptly
  • Handle customer payments or floats when applicable
  • Uphold privacy, professionalism, and regulatory compliance at all times
  • Provide courteous, respectful, and informed service
