Description Position Summary: The role of the Stair Installer/Delivery Driver is to successfully deliver and install custom staircases to customers keeping projects on schedule, ensuring job quality standards, and providing overall great customer service. Essential Functions: · Loading stairs scheduled for delivery · Installation of custom straight and curved stair systems for residential and commercial projects · Pre-load and Delivery QC · Jobsite photos · Complete paperwork per company standards · Safe accident-free driving · Comply with all traffic laws · Report any damage or issues immediately · Comply with Company Fleet Management Policies · Efficient routing and scheduling · Work with management to assure efficient routing to minimize delivery cost · Vehicle care and maintenance · Comply with customer policies and safety requirements · Pull and stage orders and assist with unloading of trucks when necessary · Work in warehouse as needed · Assist with any other duties as assigned by management Job Competencies: · Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills · A clear understanding of company policies and procedures, applicable federal, state, local and company safety policies and procedures · Strong problem-solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills · Strong service mentality Qualifications: · Clean Motor Vehicle Record · Must be 21 years of age or older · Proven ability to drive a 26’ box truck · Able to lift and deliver stairs up to 75 lbs · Ability to accurately QC check and document order fulfillment · Excellent Teamwork · Background in woodworking and craftsmanship a plus. Physical Demands: · Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds at a time. · Able to work in the field in varied weather and jobsite conditions. Work Environment: This is a full-time position. Travel: Travel will be required for this position (>75%) Requirements Stair Delivery (Drop Only)
