OVERVIEW:

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our dynamic removals team based in Edinburgh. This role involves driving a van (not a lorry), so a full UK driving licence is all you need – no special licence required.
The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to customer service, good communication skills, and the ability to navigate efficiently while ensuring safe and timely deliveries. You should also be comfortable with heavy lifting and ideally have prior experience in delivery driving or a similar commercial driving role.
You must be able to communicate effectively with both the office and customers.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Full UK driving licence
• Experience driving larger vehicles is an advantage
• Physically fit – able to lift and carry heavy items
• Strong communication skills
• Positive, problem-solving attitude
• Reliable and punctual

• Safely operate a delivery van
• Deliver goods to various locations promptly and professionally
• Load and unload items carefully to avoid damage
• Communicate clearly with customers regarding delivery times or delays
• Maintain accurate delivery records, including signatures and any issues
• Perform routine vehicle checks and report maintenance needs
• Work with office staff to ensure efficient loading and inventory coordination
