In order to accommodate our increasing staff, a leading Melbourne Wholesale fruit and vegetable firm with its headquarters in East Melbourne is seeking a picker/packer and a driver to join their ranks.
As a result of our combined family experience as well as long-standing client relationships in the hospitality industry, we are the market-leading provider of fruit and vegetables in Victoria.
Six days a week, we deliver vegetables to customers using our company-owned refrigerated truck fleet. Our delivery drivers are responsible for preparing their own orders, loading them onto their vehicles, and transporting them.
We have total quality control over our products and services from beginning to end, ensuring that our customers are completely satisfied with our products and services.

TO BE A PART OF OUR TEAM, YOU MUST POSSESS THE FOLLOWING ABILITIES:

• Exceptional road-handling abilities
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Dependable and capable of functioning both in a group and on one’s own.
• Working hard and being able to function in a fast-paced environment are essential. Learn to read and follow instructions.
• Capable of performing heavy lifting (20kg)

REQUIREMENTS:

• Obtaining a driver’s licence (auto or manual)
• Transportation to and from the depot
• (Australian Business Number) (ABN)
• Although prior experience with fruits and vegetables is prefered, it is not needed for this position.
• Possessing a can-do attitude

  Pay: $69,000.00 – $80,644.00 per year

• Loading and unloading of delivery trucks are important tasks.
• Deliver orders to customers according to a predetermined schedule.
• Other obligations as a team member may include partnering with other team members to assist with stock management and other warehouse activities as needed, as well as performing other tasks as assigned.
