Description

FROGBOX – DRIVER & CUSTOMER SERVICE SPECIALIST (TORONTO ONLY)

FROGBOX is looking for a safe, reliable driver with excellent customer service skills to join our team.
Important: Applicants must live within Toronto proper. Please do not apply if you live in Mississauga, Brampton, or Scarborough, as these locations are too far for this role.
We rent out thousands of reusable, eco-friendly moving boxes every month. (Note: We are not a moving company – our business is delivering and picking up moving supplies.) We drop off boxes before customers move, and collect them once they’re settled into their new place.
This role is all about safe driving, friendly service, and a positive attitude. We work hard to make moving easier for our customers – with flexibility, professionalism, and a smile.

Responsibilities

  • Safety: Operate 16-ft box trucks with the highest levels of care. Transport FROGBOXES safely through residential and commercial areas.
  • Physical ability: Comfortable lifting up to 30 lbs and carrying boxes up and down stairs as needed.
  • Customer Service: Deliver a positive experience every time. Be friendly, flexible, and helpful – always finding a way to “make it work” for the customer.
  • Efficiency & Independence: Manage your day with urgency and responsibility. Handle downtown driving, traffic, condos, and bicycles with confidence. You’ll mostly work independently in the field with office support when needed.

Job Requirements

  • License: Valid Ontario G license with a minimum of 5 years commercial driving experience.
  • Record: At least 3 years with a clean driver’s abstract.
  • Experience: Prior experience driving cube vans or box trucks (up to 16 ft) preferred.
  • Location: Must live in Toronto proper (near our Junction warehouse – Dupont & Dundas area).
  • Flexibility: Open availability for varying start times and shift lengths.
  • Reliability: Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and dedication.

Compensation

  • Base Pay: $19.50 per hour
  • Tips: Additional $8–$10 per hour in tips (average)
  • Total: $27–$29 per hour (combined)

Job Duties

  • Load boxes and supplies at the warehouse.
  • Deliver to residential homes, condos, and commercial locations.
  • Provide friendly service at each stop.
  • Collect boxes and supplies when customers are finished.
