Description No Weekends! 4 Day Work Week REWARDING CAREER - BENEFITS - WORK/LIFE BALANCE - COMPETITIVE PAY General Beer Northeast, a large beverage distributor in the Fox Valley has an opening for a Full-Time Delivery Driver Helper. This position requires assistance in delivering products to assigned accounts in a professional and efficient manner as well as being responsible for merchandising and product rotation. We are looking for an energetic individual with a strong work ethic and a strong sense of responsibility to join and contribute to our GB team. Schedule: You will enjoy a 4-day work week working four 10-hour days. (Tuesday – Friday) NO WEEKENDS! Early start and home every evening. Compensation: $20.00/hr. Up to $26 with a CDL. CDL not required upon hire, however, this position is on-the-job training to become a Delivery Driver therefore we provide training. Qualifications: · Ability to operate a 2-wheel hand cart up and/or downstairs. · Ability to operate power assisted cart equipment. · Ability to repeatedly lift and move kegs weighing up to 175 lbs. · Ability to merchandise displays and stock shelves. · Ability to maintain appropriate product rotation. · Ability to get in and out of a delivery truck repeatedly throughout the day. · Ability to accept responsibility and account for their actions. · Must be able to lift from 5 to 150 lbs. multiple times per day. · Must be able to crawl, reach, twist, and bend. · Must have a Wisconsin Driver’s License · Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and lift test. Requirements Qualified applicants must possess the following: Unload products at all customer locations by use of a hand truck or by hand. Follow all check-in procedures at each customer's location. Stock all shelves, coolers, and storage rooms as needed. Merchandise all the products being delivered. Safeguard and account for company invoices, cash, checks, or other forms of payment and other company property under your control. Complete all required internal control records, forms, invoices, and reports properly and accurately. Rotate all products. Ensure every product delivered is displayed in a neat and orderly fashion. Fill cooler and shelves as needed. Build and merchandise product displays. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Responsibilities
The role involves assisting in the professional and efficient delivery of products to assigned accounts, which includes merchandising and ensuring proper product rotation at customer sites.
