Our main product lines include Truck and Trailer hardware, such as friction and air braking products, Lighting, body components, electrical and lighting products, oils and lubricants, exhausts and aircon parts, clutch friction, brake and clutch hydraulics, cab panels and cab structural products, workshop consumables and tools.
The face of HGV Direct, our Delivery Driver position offer direct contact with our internal teams and our vast customer base. Presentation, punctuality and professionalism are all qualities we are looking for in the successful candidate. Being the face of HGV Direct our delivery teams collect any returns, warranties and gather feedback on performance to relay back to their Branch Managers, ensuring an extremely high standard of service is maintained.

Responsibilities
  • The accurate delivery of product within the agreed timeframe – target two hours from invoice.
  • Keep a high standard of vehicle maintenance and cleanliness.
  • Uphold a high standard of HSE and housekeeping.
  • Assist the branch in completing daily tasks as per the management planner.
  • Ensure marketing material is distributed as directed by the branch manager.
  • Process
  • Product is loaded securely using pick by/check by and in accordance to company policy and HSE guidelines.
  • Collection, delivery and returns paperwork including old core completed to company policy.
  • Weekly vehicle checks carried out and documented.
  • Exterior and interior of the vehicles cleaned at regular points throughout the week.
  • Marketing material distributed as part of the deliveries.
  • Complete any other tasks delegated by the branch manager within the given timeframe, this may include assisting the Account Manager with Impress stocks.
  • Use the most efficient route to carry out deliveries and collections.
  • Ensure company training is completed.
  • Build strong customer relationships

    Job Type: Permanent
    Pay: £12.21 per hour
    Expected hours: 42 per week
