Job Title: Yard & Delivery Operative (HGV Driver)
Location: Fareham, PO16
Hours: 40 hours per week

REQUIREMENTS:

• Full UK Driving Licence with HGV entitlement (12-ton flatbed experience preferred).
• Ability to move and operate plant and machinery.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Physically fit and able to undertake manual handling (training provided).
• Flexibility to travel nationwide for deliveries/collections.
• Willingness to stay overnight when required.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Yard & Delivery Operative to join our team in Fareham. This role involves delivering and collecting materials nationwide, organising and maintaining our yard, and handling plant and machinery. You will also be responsible for driving our 12-ton flatbed HGV to various sites across the UK.
Please note: Some overnight stays will be required depending on the location of sites. Hotel accommodation and food allowance will be provided for nights away.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Delivering and collecting materials to/from our sites nationwide.
• Operating and moving plant and machinery as required.
• Organising, sorting, and maintaining the yard area to a high standard.
• Ensuring safe loading, unloading, and manual handling of items.
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and maintaining cleanliness of the HGV.
• Working closely with the operations team to meet delivery schedules.
• Staying away overnight on occasion, with hotel and food allowance provided.
