Description

The Delivery Driver is responsible for transporting parts, equipment, and materials between Hy-Tek locations and customer facilities in a safe and professional manner. This role supports the Industrial Equipment team by ensuring timely deliveries, maintaining accurate paperwork, and providing excellent customer service. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Safely transport parts, equipment, and materials to customer and company locations. * Load, unload, organize, and verify deliveries using packing lists and work orders. * Operate company vehicles, including dually trucks, safely and professionally. * Return completed paperwork, unused parts, and other materials to the office as needed. * Use pallet jacks, hand trucks, utility knives, and other tools safely. * Maintain communication with the Parts Manager regarding delivery schedules and issues. * Follow all company safety procedures and policies. * Provide professional customer service during deliveries and interactions. * Perform additional duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS * Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record. * 2+ years of driving experience preferred. * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. * Strong communication and organizational skills. * Ability to read and complete basic paperwork and delivery documents. * Industrial or agricultural equipment experience is a plus. * High school diploma or equivalent preferred. PHYSICAL & WORKING CONDITIONS * Ability to sit and drive for extended periods of time. * Ability to lift up to 75 pounds. * Ability to walk, bend, squat, and kneel as needed. * Work may take place in warehouse, shop, and outdoor environments. * Travel to customer locations is required. ***Job requirements listed indicate the minimum level of knowledge, skills, and/or ability necessary to perform the job proficiently.
