THIS IS A SELF EMPLOYED POSITION

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining excellent customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, effective communication skills, and the ability to handle heavy lifting as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be 21 or older
  • Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
  • Valid driving licence is essential; experience driving vans or larger vehicles is advantageous.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks throughout the day.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with customers and team members effectively.
  • A positive attitude and commitment to providing excellent customer service.
  • Own Safety Boots & Tools: Essential for the installation and safe handling of appliances. Lifting straps provided.

Responsibilities

ROLE:

  • Position: Delivery Driver (Two-Man Team)
  • Hourly Rate: £13 per hour, with the potential to increase to £15 per hour upon meeting run milestones with your crew number.
  • Hours: Full-time, with shifts available every day (weekends preferred, but not required).
  • Run Time: Up to 11 hours per day.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Safely operate a delivery vehicle, ensuring adherence to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Load and unload goods from the vehicle, performing heavy lifting as required.
  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including obtaining signatures and documenting any issues.
  • Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs or safety concerns.
  • Collaborate with depot staff to ensure the correct items are loaded for delivery.
