JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent driving skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred.
• Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record; experience driving a commercial vehicle is advantageous.
• Familiarity with local routes and traffic patterns.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during loading and unloading processes.

• Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to designated locations.
• Load and unload items, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pick-ups.
• Communicate with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
• Assist in warehouse duties as needed, including heavy lifting and inventory management.
