Job Summary:We are currently seeking a reliable Delivery Driver with an eye for detail & the abiltiy to deliver our delicate frozen desserts to our nation wide customers, The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and packages to various locations from London to Northen Scotland.
Currently this role is 1-2 long days per week, however this will be increasing hours in coming months.
Duties:- Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues- Perform multi drops, on average around 6 per day, Drive safely and responsibly to deliver items promptly- Utilise commercial driving skills to navigate delivery routes efficiently- Work in food lead environments to load and unload goods- Operate as a van driver for local & national deliveries whilst ensuring the van load area is monitored and maintained.
Experience:- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role- Familiarity with local roads and routes- Commercial driving experience is advantageous- Ability to handle lifting tasks- Excellent communication skillsBenefits:- Competitive salary based on experience and performance- Opportunities for career progression within the companyRequirements:- Valid UK driving licence with no penalty points- Previous experience as a delivery driver is essential, Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
