OVERVIEW

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver on a self employed basis to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely to various locations. The role will be working as part of a 2 Person crew delivering items of furniture to room of choice, so a degree of heavy lifting will be involved.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role within a warehouse environment is preferred.
  • Valid driving licence with a clean driving record; experience with commercial driving is an advantage.
  • Ability to lift heavy items (up to 25 kg) and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading goods.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with customers and team members.
  • A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and customer service excellence.
  • Familiarity with local roads and routes is beneficial for efficient navigation during deliveries.
