JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe deliveries. This role requires a keen attention to detail, excellent driving skills, and the ability to operate various types of vehicles and equipment.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred; experience in commercial driving is a plus.
  • Proven experience in freight handling and delivery operations.
  • Familiarity with heavy equipment operation, including forklifts, is highly desirable.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to lift heavy items safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities
  • Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
  • Load and unload freight, ensuring proper handling of all items.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all shipments.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
  • Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment as needed for loading and unloading tasks.
  • Perform basic automotive repairs as necessary to ensure vehicle reliability.
